The Public Artist / Kunstfest Weimar 2015.

THE PUBLIC ARTIST is an interactive installation which consists of a pull switch installed on one of the streetlights in front of Jakobsplan. During the two weeks every passerby had 24-hour access to switch on and off the light in the private space where artist was living, working and sleeping. Intervening in his privacy, everyone was given the possibility to challenge the socialization of the inhabitant, who claims to be a “public artist”.
